Ventabren is a traditional provencal hilltop village, and we think that it is the prettiest village in the countryside of Aix-en-Provence.
The area is quiet, residential and boasts breathtaking panoramic views. It is also known thanks to the largest stone aqueduct in the world - the aqueduct of Roquefavour. The historic center of Ventabren dates back to middle ages. You may walk up the hill to see the remains of the castle of Queen Jeanne and to walk in the typical mediterranian forest, and there is also a medieval mill down the hill.
